About the position

The Integration & Test Engineer at Command Post Technologies, Inc. (CPT) is responsible for supporting integration, functional, and system testing activities associated with developed software systems. This role involves providing testing guidance, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring the quality and functionality of software products through rigorous testing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide testing guidance and input to product development teams.
  • Support functional, integration, and delivery verification testing activities for their associated product.
  • Support the implementation of testing automation solutions and initiatives.
  • Support hardware and software system patching and tracking efforts.
  • Provide testing support for capability assessment and technology investigation activities.
  • Provide testing support as part of resolution of any open program problem reports (PPRs) for their associated product.
  • Provide remote site support for testing and site setup activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience.
  • Five (5) years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.
  • Experience planning and executing complex software system test cases and procedures.
  • Experience with test scenario and script development and requirements management.
  • Ability and experience effectively communicating technical and programmatic issues.
  • Experience with project logistics and working with controlled engineering baselines.
  • Experience developing and executing testing programs and scripts in Linux-based environments.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and Git.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within teams.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility.

Nice-to-haves

  • 7+ years of related, proven experience performing similar duties.
  • Experience configuring software and system test automation tools and processes.
  • Working knowledge of cyber testing or training.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and tools.
  • Experience testing components residing in virtualized and containerized environments.
