About the position

The Integrator Performance Engineer at Exotec plays a crucial role in enhancing the integration of robotic solutions in warehouse automation. This position focuses on building capabilities among integrators, providing engineering support, and ensuring operational excellence for Exotec systems in production. The role involves analyzing performance issues, facilitating training, and collaborating with integrators to optimize system designs and functionalities, ultimately contributing to the success of Exotec's innovative robotic solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to training content creation and facilitate training for integrators
  • Respond to any integrator questions or support requests
  • Advise integrators on effective system designs for Exotec products
  • Support integrators in understanding functionalities and integration best practices
  • Review technical offers and validate integrator design documents before installation
  • Own performance of Exotec systems and analyze root causes of nonperformance
  • Coordinate with integrators to perform improvement actions
  • Solve issues escalated from Exotec Control Center
  • Support integrators in maintaining systems with the latest updates
  • Analyze root causes of issues and suggest improvement plans
  • Coordinate with Exotec teams to implement prevention solutions for future issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or software engineering or mechatronics
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar computer-aided design tools
  • Basic networking knowledge
  • Experience or appreciation for Git, NodeRed, and Docker
  • Ability to read code in C++, C, Python, JS and/or Java
  • Strong analytical skills and enjoy interpreting data
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Flexibility with working on-call shifts outside of standard office hours, including some overnights and weekends
  • Ability to travel for work of up to 35-50%
