About the position

Bumble Inc. is looking for an Integrity Operations Specialist to join our Trust Operations team. We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on candidate who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is excited to support the evolution of our Trust Operations team. In this role, you will investigate safety concerns and provide compassionate, trauma-informed support to members facing safety issues across multiple platforms. You will help uphold Bumble Inc.'s Community Guidelines by reviewing and enforcing actions on violating accounts and content to maintain a safe and respectful environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with sensitive content, including child exploitation, graphic or physical sexual violence, suicide and self-harm, and other potentially distressing material. Trust and safety are embedded in Bumble Inc's mission of creating a world where all relationships are healthy and equitable. Our wider Trust organization includes the centralized and dedicated teams focused on creating products and systems that proactively detect and prevent harm and promote healthy, kind relationships, developing policies that govern and adjudicate responsible, safe, inclusive, and respectful behaviour and content across all Bumble Inc. platforms, and supporting members who experience safety incidents in a trauma-informed, empathetic manner. This role will be based in the U.S. reporting to the Integrity Operations Manager. Please note that this position involves exposure to sensitive and graphic content, including but not limited to vulgar, violent, and sexual content.

Responsibilities

  • Review and take action on user reports and proactive detections related to safety concerns, including harassment, threats, non-consensual imagery, and other violations of Bumble Inc.'s Community Guidelines.
  • Provide high-touch, trauma-informed safety support to members who have experienced safety incidents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Trust & Safety, Customer Experience, and Legal, to escalate and resolve complex safety cases.
  • Help enforce Bumble Inc.'s policies by reviewing and processing accounts and content flagged for safety violations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Trust & Safety, customer support, crisis response, or content moderation role, preferably in a high-risk or safety-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive content and provide support in cases involving child exploitation, sexual violence, and self-harm.
  • Experience handling high-touch safety escalations, particularly those involving vulnerable individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, empathetic, and professional responses.
  • Experience collaborating with Business Process Outsourcers (BPOs) to ensure quality and consistency in safety-related workflows is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize urgent tasks, and make sound judgment calls under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or another second language is preferred.
