2020 Companies is seeking a dedicated Onboarding Specialist to represent Intel and help create a seamless and memorable experience for new team members. This role is pivotal in streamlining the onboarding process, ensuring that new hires have easy access to resources, and crafting engaging and informative messaging. The Onboarding Specialist will develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that is both efficient and effective, catering to the needs of new hires and the organization as a whole. This includes identifying and eliminating bottlenecks in the onboarding process, such as delays in email access or system permissions. The role requires the creation of clear and concise instructions to streamline the process of getting new hires into the field, along with providing timely support. Additionally, the Onboarding Specialist will organize and curate content in the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure it is meaningful and relevant to new hires. This includes developing engaging onboarding messaging, such as emails, presentations, and training modules. The role also involves partnering with vendors to create high-quality media and videos to support the onboarding process. A critical aspect of this position is to deeply understand the challenges faced by new hires and to create new processes and solutions to address these challenges. Collaboration with other departments is essential to ensure that new hires have the resources and support they need to be successful. The Onboarding Specialist will track and measure the effectiveness of the onboarding program and make improvements as necessary. Performance measurements will include reducing the average time to productivity for new hires, increasing employee satisfaction with the onboarding process, and reducing the new hire turnover rate. The role will also involve partnering with the IT department to streamline access to systems and tools for new hires, as well as creating a new onboarding video series that introduces new hires to the company culture and values.
