The Onboarding Specialist will develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that is both efficient and effective, catering to the needs of new hires and the organization as a whole. This includes identifying and eliminating bottlenecks in the onboarding process, such as delays in email access or system permissions. The role involves streamlining the process of getting new hires into the field by creating clear and concise instructions and providing timely support. Additionally, the Specialist will organize and curate content in the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure it is meaningful and relevant to new hires. The position also requires the development of engaging onboarding messaging, including emails, presentations, and training modules. The Onboarding Specialist will partner with vendors to create high-quality media and videos to support the onboarding process. A critical aspect of the role is to deeply understand the challenges faced by new hires and to create new processes and solutions to address these challenges. Collaboration with other departments is essential to ensure that new hires have the resources and support they need to succeed. The effectiveness of the onboarding program will be tracked and measured, with improvements made as necessary to enhance the experience for new employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive onboarding program that meets the needs of new hires and the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in onboarding or a related HR field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with onboarding software and tools.
  • Experience with developing and delivering training programs.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
