About the position

The Intel Promoter role at 2020 Companies is a part-time position focused on engaging with customers at Best Buy to promote and sell Intel products. The position requires working primarily on weekends and during holidays, providing an opportunity for individuals passionate about technology and customer service to connect with shoppers and enhance their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships and rapport with Best Buy customers and personnel.
• Provide training to store associates on the various Intel products and technologies.
• Identify customers' needs and recommend appropriate Intel computer products and services.
• Proactively engage customers throughout the sales process, from greeting and discovering their needs to closing the sale.
• Track and increase Intel Retail Edge sign-up and engagement.
• Ring up customers' computer purchases on Best Buy's POS system (no cash handling involved).
• Complete same-day online reports to document visits, including providing feedback and observations, and submitting customer and store photos.
• Maintain business communication with Best Buy District Manager via occasional phone calls, Zoom meetings, and/or emails.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of 6 months experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to engage, demonstrate, and ask for the sale.
• Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer and retail partner expectations.
• Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.

Nice-to-haves

• An interest in PC and Gaming products is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk around, reach, pick up, bend, grab, up to 20lbs occasionally, with continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation.
