About the position

The Intelligence Data Engineer role at Deloitte's Government and Public Services Cyber Practice focuses on providing technical data management support to ensure structured and unstructured data is formatted for effective transfer. The position involves acquiring, analyzing, and pushing data from various sources, including dark web forums and social media, to a cloud-based environment. This role is integral to enhancing cyber security strategies and requires collaboration with data vendors to expand resource capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical data management support for structured and unstructured data.
  • Acquire, exploit, and analyze data from dark web forums, markets, and social media in near-real time.
  • Push data to a cloud-based landing zone.
  • Coordinate with data vendors to expand resources for various opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2+ years of experience developing various types of databases and utilizing Database Management Systems.
  • 1+ years of experience with large scale cloud-based storage, including configuring cloud-based databases for rapid data ingestion and querying.
  • Experience integrating and fusing data from various sources to meet intelligence objectives.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Chantilly, VA.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of integrating public and private AI/ML models into workflows.
  • Knowledge of NLP models, NER and ER, and CNN for OSINT processing.
  • Ability to develop custom alerts and data architectures for machine learning.
  • Extensive understanding of data management and commercially available data sources.
  • Experience with extracting features, patterns, and anomalies from large volume, multi-modal data.
