About the position
The Intelligence Discipline Lead Subject Matter Expert (IDL SME) plays a critical role in supporting USSOCOM by conducting targeting analysis and operations. This position requires a high level of expertise in intelligence operations, with responsibilities that include coordinating and producing intelligence products, integrating data, and prioritizing missions. The IDL SME must maintain global readiness and be prepared for deployment to hazardous duty or combat zones, often under austere conditions.
Responsibilities
- Perform intelligence operations, coordination, product production, data integration, synchronization, and prioritization of USSOCOM missions and operational objectives.
- Possess SME-level skillsets in the specific intelligence discipline with demonstrated experience and results.
- Assist the USSOCOM Staff in identifying and developing prudent Courses of Action (COAs) and recommend priorities.
- Train team members and employ technical knowledge for the long-term benefit of USSOCOM operations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI security clearance.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing analytical intelligence related operations.
- Minimum of five (5) years of operational analysis experience in their analytical field.
- Two (2) years of experience in a managerial level position in support of special operations and combat overseas tours.
- Advanced skillsets with the F3EAD targeting methodology and knowledge of additional intelligence disciplines.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of analytical theory, doctrine, rules, regulations, directives, systems, concepts, methodologies, and relevant skills related to intelligence operations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Human Factors Analysis, Human Terrain Analysis, SIGINT Targeting, Convergence Analysis, and Intelligence training.
