About the position

Celestar Corporation is seeking an Intelligence Knowledge Manager to support the United States Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) with the Special Operations Force Core Support (SCS) and Contractor Support Positions (CSP) primarily located at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii. This position is critical in ensuring that all mission partners have access to relevant information and expertise necessary for achieving decision superiority. The role involves the integration of people and processes enabled by technology throughout the information life cycle to create shared understanding and enhance organizational performance and decision-making. Knowledge management is essential for operational intelligence and the intelligence production cycle, applying knowledge management discipline to support decision makers effectively. The Intelligence Knowledge Manager will be responsible for facilitating shared understanding and enabling faster, more effective decision-making throughout the intelligence cycle. This includes the integration of intelligence data, information records, and knowledge management capabilities. The role requires a focus on learning and innovation, emphasizing the importance of people and processes in enabling the intelligence cycle. The successful candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and relevant information is available for planning and conducting operational intelligence and intelligence production and dissemination. Additionally, the position involves collaboration, analysis, and the application of technology to transform raw data into actionable intelligence, making it accessible and understandable to decision makers at the speed of relevance. The Intelligence Knowledge Manager will implement three key components of knowledge management: People (leaders who create, organize, apply, and transfer knowledge), Processes (methods of knowledge management), and Tools (digital and non-digital knowledge tools used to organize knowledge products and services).

Responsibilities

  • Integrate intelligence data, information records, and knowledge management capabilities to ensure access to relevant information for mission partners.
  • Facilitate shared understanding and faster decision-making throughout the intelligence cycle.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant information for operational intelligence and intelligence production.
  • Collaborate and analyze to turn raw data into actionable intelligence for decision makers.
  • Implement knowledge management components: People, Processes, and Tools to improve unit effectiveness and mission execution.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance is required.
  • Experience providing knowledge management in support of intelligence production.
  • Completion of Intel Planning Course I/II is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF) units/commands.
