About the position

Sigmatech is seeking a highly motivated Intelligence Operations Instructor/Instructional Designer III to develop, validate, and instruct course material for the Intelligence Operations course at the 319th Combat Training Squadron in support of the USSF Officer Training Course. The role involves creating instructional materials aligned with established guidelines and collaborating with various intelligence agencies to maintain a cutting-edge training program. The position is full-time and requires a Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify on, and deliver in-residence intelligence operations course materials consistent with Instructional Systems Design principles.
  • Interface with internal and external intelligence agencies to update and maintain training programs.
  • Coordinate instructional activities with the Contract Task Lead and government personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution or 8 years of additional experience in lieu of education requirement.
  • Minimum of 4 years of intelligence-related experience in industry, academia, or with a U.S. Government agency.
  • Active or current Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge with collection management, joint intelligence preparation of the operational environment (JIPOE), targeting fundamentals, and intelligence support to mission planning.
  • Expert knowledge of adversary space systems and their capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with integrating space intelligence information into theater and space operations.
  • Working knowledge of operational-level command and control constructs.
  • Skilled communicator with experience in providing platform instruction to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or similar joint instructor course preferred.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design skills (ADDIE) and adult learning theories.
