About the position

At Aleut Federal, we are seeking a highly motivated individual to develop, validate, and instruct Intelligence Operations course material at the 319th Combat Training Squadron, located at Peterson SFB, Colorado. This position supports the United States Space Force (USSF) Officer Training Course (OTC) and is expected to commence on November 1, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering in-residence intelligence operations course materials that adhere to the principles of Instructional Systems Design (ISD). These materials must align with the 319 CTS instructions, security classification guides, and other guidance as outlined in the lesson plans. In this role, you will interface with both internal and external intelligence agencies to ensure that the training program remains state-of-the-art and relevant. Coordination of instructional activities will be required with the Contract Task Lead and government personnel to ensure seamless delivery of the course. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary, and while the position is primarily on-site, minimal telework may be authorized. Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualify on, and deliver in-residence intelligence operations course materials consistent with the principles of Instructional Systems Design (ISD).
  • Ensure course materials align with 319 CTS instructions, security classification guides, and other guidance as identified in lesson plans.
  • Interface with internal and external intelligence agencies to update and maintain a state-of-the-art training program.
  • Coordinate instructional activities with the Contract Task Lead and government personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge with collection management, joint intelligence preparation of the operational environment (JIPOE), targeting fundamentals, and intelligence support to mission planning.
  • Possess expert knowledge of capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities of adversary space systems.
  • Possess expert knowledge and experience with integrating space intelligence information into theater and space operations.
  • Possess working knowledge of and experience with operational-level command and control constructs.
  • Possess intelligence-related experience with briefing, executing, and debriefing tactical space operations.
  • Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience.
  • Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or similar joint instructor course preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required.
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in relevant field or a bachelor's degree and 8 years of additional experience may be substituted for education requirement.
  • Minimum of 4 years of intelligence-related experience either in industry, academia, or with a U.S. Government agency.
