About the position

The Intelligence Operations Integrator at Barbaricum plays a crucial role in supporting the Department of Defense (DOD) by assisting with the implementation of the Palantir platform. This position involves providing direct support to users, training analysts, troubleshooting technical issues, and developing workflows to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration and ensure the success of the users in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide desk-side training to analysts.
  • Train analysts/operators in a classroom and operational setting.
  • Staff the Help Desk: respond to user requests and work with the Palantir engineering team to troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide feedback to the Palantir engineering team about the product.
  • Attend and provide assistance during daily briefings with senior leaders (including a couple of Saturday mornings per month).
  • Provide support in addressing Requests for Information (RFIs) and answering questions from senior leaders.
  • Identify valuable workflows for analysts and understand their specific needs to translate them into Palantir product.
  • Aid analysts in the development and enhancement of geo-spatial tools to facilitate insights and informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance and US Citizenship.
  • Experience fusing intelligence capabilities in support of operations.
  • Technical background with working knowledge of HTML, Ruby, Python, and/or Java, as well as hardware, networks, and server administration.
  • Prior experience with Palantir Gaia and debugging capabilities with Foundry.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the Department of Defense, including joint capacities and interactions with high-ranking military officials.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Palantir's implementation teams.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite with customers in their facilities, including some weekend work.
  • Ability to travel domestically 25% of the time if needed.
