About the position

The Intelligence Operations Specialist position at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) involves analyzing foreign intelligence threats to U.S. national security. The role requires collaboration with various intelligence and security organizations to provide comprehensive analytical products and threat assessments. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in counterintelligence analysis and an understanding of foreign intelligence entity (FIE) tradecraft.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical products involving all-source intelligence analysis on Foreign Intelligence entities (FIE) posing threats to US national security.
• Act as a key contributor to the Region's Integrated Element by reviewing relevant materials and briefing on salient FIE threat information.
• Provide industrial security threat information and CI-related information to CI organizations supporting the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
• Conduct liaison with FBI analysts and other DoD analytic elements to exchange information regarding FIE activity and foreign collection threats.
• Review RDA-affiliated documents and assist in developing threat awareness training.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Experience analyzing defense intelligence topics, including infrastructure, cyber, or human terrain.
• Knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program and the DoD Personnel Security Program process.
• Ability to identify, review, and interpret new data sources for intelligence production.
• Experience with IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, and techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a federal intelligence agency or similar environment.
• Familiarity with counterintelligence issues in cleared industry.
