About the position

The SMX Talent Acquisition & Development (TA&D) Team is seeking an Intelligence Recruiter to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission-focused recruiting efforts, particularly in sourcing candidates for technical positions both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS). As part of a collaborative and agile environment, you will work closely with a dedicated team of recruiters and hiring managers to ensure that we attract and retain the best talent to meet the needs of our clients and internal teams. In this position, you will be responsible for full-lifecycle recruiting, with a strong emphasis on sourcing exceptional candidates. You will partner with hiring managers to develop innovative recruitment strategies that align with the evolving needs of our business groups. Your role will involve guiding candidates through the assessment and interview processes, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience that sets them up for success at SMX. Additionally, you will proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for critical skill sets, ensuring that our talent pool is continuously refreshed and ready for future proposals. You will also engage in special projects and initiatives within the TA&D team, contributing to internal upskilling efforts and recruitment marketing strategies that shape the future of talent acquisition at SMX.

Responsibilities

  • Support full-lifecycle recruiting efforts with a focus on sourcing candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop innovative sourcing and assessment strategies.
  • Lead the sourcing of exceptional talent and guide them through the assessment and onboarding processes.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical skill sets and future proposals.
  • Engage in special projects and TA&D initiatives to enhance recruitment efforts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sourcing or full-lifecycle recruiting experience, particularly in mission-focused ISR talent.
  • Strong analytical skills to define, create, and measure TA&D activities for data-informed decision-making.
  • Technical proficiency to discuss and screen candidates effectively based on the latest technology trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consulting skills, thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite meetings and contract support.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience recruiting for positions requiring a TS/SCI FSP clearance.
  • Familiarity with Intelligence, C5ISR, Space, Security, and Digital Transformation talent markets.
  • Experience in recruiting for proposals and business development opportunities.
