About the position

The Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Developer is responsible for designing, building, and testing data integration processes using Informatica. This role involves collaborating with both source and target system experts to conduct detailed analyses, create data analysis reports, and ensure effective data validation and automation of data transfer processes. The developer will also lead and mentor a team in Business Intelligence and Analytics application development, while providing architectural recommendations to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test business application data transfer and integration processes using Informatica.
• Meet with source system experts to identify appropriate data sources and conduct detailed source system analysis.
• Meet with target system experts to identify appropriate targets and conduct detailed target system analysis.
• Perform data validation, process tuning, and automation of interface/data transfer processes.
• Design, develop, and test application interfaces using various application connectors between B2B applications.
• Design data warehouse ETL processes using IICS.
• Create detailed ETL specifications for the offshore development team.
• Validate data, tune processes, and automate data warehouse ETL processes.
• Work with offsite and offshore team members to manage their deliverables.
• Resolve issues identified by the business team.
• Evaluate existing landscape and underlying data layers to provide architectural recommendations.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise Business Intelligence and Analytics application development staff.

Requirements

• Ability to design, develop, and implement complex data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using Informatica, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Experience in sourcing data using application delivered APIs, with an understanding of API behavior, security, and paging.
• Strong background in SAP Data Integration projects.
• Strong background in data integration design and implementation using Informatica.
• Strong practical knowledge of traditional and agile SDLC methodologies.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, managing, and tuning very large databases in SQL Server.
• Excellent communication and client handling skills, with readiness to work in an offshore-onsite mode.
• Ability to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment.
