About the position

The Intensive Case Management Supervisor at CWS is responsible for overseeing the provision of intensive post-reunification support and home study services to unaccompanied children (UC) and their sponsors. This role involves direct supervision of Intensive Case Managers, ensuring compliance with policies, and providing trauma-informed, strengths-based services. The Supervisor will work collaboratively with national and local teams to enhance service delivery and support the integration of UC into their communities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of Level 3 Post Release Services and intensive case management.
  • Oversee casework that includes crisis intervention and safety planning for unaccompanied children in crisis.
  • Ensure comprehensive, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed home studies are conducted.
  • Elevate the visibility of the HSPRS program within the community to increase access to supportive services.
  • Conduct outreach and education among local service providers to improve awareness of challenges facing unaccompanied children.
  • Engage stakeholders to enhance services and support for UC requiring intensive case management.
  • Monitor program compliance and timeliness of deliverables, addressing deficiencies as needed.
  • Review and approve all PRS reports in a timely manner, ensuring quality of care.
  • Prepare for on-site and desktop monitoring by national teams and ORR.
  • Participate in network meetings and activities with the national HSPRS team.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or relevant behavioral science with clinical experience, plus at least two years of postgraduate direct clinical service experience; or a Bachelor's degree with at least six years of clinical employment experience.
  • LCSW in Florida is required.
  • A minimum of three years case management experience, or six years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience providing post-reunification support and working with children and youth.
  • Experience conducting home study assessments is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience.
  • Prior experience networking and building relationships across organizations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Experience with foreign born youth is a plus.
