About the position

The Interdepartmental Software Systems Liaison for Cell and Molecular Biology at Eurofins is responsible for managing the software systems between two departments during the transfer of clients and their assays. This role involves providing scientific, technical, and applications support, ensuring smooth project transfers, and facilitating communication between departments.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary source of software system management between department 2087 and department 2016 during client and assay transfers.
  • Provide daily scientific, technical, and applications support on Molecular Devices microplate readers.
  • Work directly with both departments and the liaison team to ensure a smooth project transfer process.
  • Support additional scientific and mathematical endeavors to facilitate project transfers from development to routine environments.

Requirements

  • B.S. in business, science, or related concentration.
  • Self-confidence, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
  • Scientific and mathematical acumen.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle personal stress and diffuse stress in others.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous laboratory experience preferred.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Molecular Devices' SpectraMax microplate readers and SoftMax Pro software is highly desirable.
