Responsibilities

• Write technical or business briefings and summaries for management and other organizations.
• Review construction project parameters to recommend changes for improved project results.
• Prepare cost estimates and design scopes to meet architectural-engineering objectives efficiently.
• Monitor financial obligations to ensure fund expenditures adhere to budgetary policies.
• Review design and construction projects to develop recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
• Develop project management plans addressing schedules, costs, and resources.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
• Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established timeframes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in coordinating technical guidance for architectural/engineering cost estimates.
• Ability to monitor project resources and provide recommendations for cost issues.
