About the position

The Interface Analyst plays a crucial role in the interoperability department at HST Pathways, focusing on establishing and maintaining interfaces for surgery center clients and their business partners. This position is essential for ensuring client success with the HST platform, requiring a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and a commitment to quality assurance. The role involves proactive coordination with various teams, troubleshooting live interfaces, and documenting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in interface implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Establish interfaces for surgery center clients and their business partners.
  • Install and maintain interfaces for surgery center clients and their business partners.
  • Proactively coordinate with internal teams, client IT teams, and HST vendors to obtain configuration information, coordinate and test interface installs.
  • Identify areas of improvement to streamline interface implementations.
  • Manage and troubleshoot issues with live interfaces, escalating issues to the development team as needed.
  • Document interface install processes and process changes.
  • Support QA efforts for interface products in conjunction with the product and development teams.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years work experience in information technology, computer systems, computer science or related field.
  • Working knowledge of interface/integration technology concepts (e.g. HL7, APIs, databases, client-server, querying software and communications protocols).
  • Some experience with SQL is preferred.
  • Experience with Mirth and/or other healthcare data engine is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage workloads and backlogs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid attitude for customer service.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a tightly integrated team.
  • Ability to generate clear documentation with attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with three or more years of diversified technical support experience in a corporate environment.
  • Associates or Technical School degree with five or more years diversified technical support experience in a corporate environment.
