About the position

As an Interface Coordinator / Analyst at our company, you will be at the forefront of our B2B eCommerce operations, serving as the primary liaison between our organization, various departments, and our trading partners. This role is crucial in managing interface requests and ensuring their successful implementation. You will engage directly with customers and IT support teams to address any issues that arise, making you a key player in our integration services team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Application Development group and key stakeholders to gather and document requirements for new interface requests, ensuring that all necessary information is communicated effectively to the IT department before development begins. In this position, you will also be responsible for maintaining the Customer Interface Dashboard, which tracks active interfaces and their specific details. You will coordinate end-to-end testing of newly developed or enhanced interfaces, ensuring that they meet the required standards before implementation. Additionally, you will facilitate training sessions for stakeholders and external partners to ensure they are well-equipped to use the new interfaces. Your proactive communication will be essential in keeping all parties informed about the status of interface requests, potential roadblocks, and any changes in priorities. This role requires a strong project management background, as you will need to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines. You will work closely with various teams, both internal and external, to ensure a smooth interface request process and successful project delivery. Your ability to identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues will be critical in maintaining project timelines and budgets. Responsibilities

  • Act as the central link between different business units while requesting customer interfaces and our trading partners.
  • Manage expectations, set priorities, and collaborate closely with business, IT teams, and trading partners to ensure a smooth interface request process.
  • Collaborate with the Application Development group, key stakeholders, and interface requestors to gather and document requirements, and communicate estimated timelines for all open interface requests.
  • Complete the Customer Interface Requirements template for all new customer interface requests, ensuring it is comprehensive and provided to IT before development begins.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with business-related inquiries and issues, and facilitating communication between IT teams at trading partners.
  • Provide initial support to investigate and coordinate the resolution of reported issues.
  • Take ownership of identifying, managing, and escalating risks and issues to key stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
  • Maintain the Customer Interface Dashboard repository, documenting which customers have active interfaces, along with specific interface details.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather necessary 'master data' for developing, testing, and implementing customer interfaces, including working with the Data Management team to maintain data mapping cross-references to the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Coordinate and actively participate in end-to-end testing of newly developed or enhanced interfaces.
  • Facilitate training and implementation of newly developed interfaces for key stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proactively communicate interface status, potential roadblocks, and priority changes to both key stakeholders and trading partners.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deliverable dates and project schedules.
  • Effective people management skills, with the ability to communicate with multiple teams, both internal and external.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
  • Technological competence, with an understanding of B2B eCommerce and EDI concepts, including common standards, processes, and terminology.
  • Prior experience in project management, particularly with technology-related projects.
  • Desirable experience in IT project or IT work, especially within the B2B eCommerce environment.
