About the position

Our valued client is seeking an Interim Compensation Analyst to develop, maintain, and update compensation structures. This role involves collaborating with external consulting firms to update internal systems and conducting data audits and analysis to support compensation strategies. The Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring that the organization’s compensation practices are competitive and equitable, aligning with industry standards and internal policies. The successful candidate will work closely with an external consulting firm to develop and refine salary structures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal equity. This includes implementing new salary structures into HR systems, ensuring that all data is accurately reflected and accessible. The role also requires updating and maintaining accurate compensation bands within systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and external benchmarks. Additionally, the Compensation Analyst will conduct audits and analyses of compensation data to identify discrepancies. Utilizing compensation surveys and other market data, the analyst will price new roles or adjust existing compensation bands as needed, ensuring competitive and fair pay practices. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity of the organization’s compensation framework and supporting overall HR strategies.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Compensation Analyst or in a similar role within HR.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and compensation management software.
  • Familiarity with compensation surveys and external benchmarking tools.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification is a plus!
