About the position

Kendallville Manor is seeking an Interim Director of Admissions and Marketing for our skilled nursing facility in Kendallville, IN. This full-time role is to fill a temporary opening starting September 8 and running for at least two months. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and maintaining relationships with local hospitals, physicians, and the community to increase admissions and census. In this role, you will have the full support of facility and corporate leadership, Central Admissions backup, and a positive sales culture. The facility boasts an excellent reputation, a beautiful building, and above-average star ratings in all categories, making it an attractive place for potential residents. As the Interim Director, you will be responsible for external sales and marketing efforts directed towards hospitals, assisted living facilities (ALFs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), physicians, and other referral sources. You will engage in community outreach and relationship building to convert referrals into new residents. Additionally, you will screen and approve patients both clinically and financially to determine their appropriateness for admission. Overseeing internal admissions processes and planning and running events will also be key components of your responsibilities. This position is critical in ensuring that the facility meets its admissions goals while maintaining high standards of care and service.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in healthcare sales, marketing, or admissions required
  • Knowledge of short-term rehab and long-term care to determine if patients are clinically appropriate for SNF
  • Knowledge of insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed care, Private, etc) to assess financials of potential admissions
