About the position
West Hartford Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Interim Kindergarten Teacher for the 2024-25 school year at Duffy Elementary School. This full-time position is expected to last until June 1, 2025, and requires a commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities
- Teach and support kindergarten students in their educational development.
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
- Participate in professional development and training as required.
Requirements
- Current CT Certification (013) is required.
- Experience in early childhood education or teaching at the elementary level.
