The Interim MDS Coordinator is a contract position at a skilled nursing facility in the Orlando, FL area, requiring on-site presence five days a week. The role focuses on managing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for detail-oriented and data-driven individuals with experience in skilled nursing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the MDS assessments for residents in the facility.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding MDS documentation.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to gather necessary patient information for MDS completion.
- Conduct training and support for staff on MDS-related processes and documentation.
- Review and analyze MDS data to improve patient care and facility operations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an MDS Coordinator, with 5+ years preferred.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is required.
- Current Florida RN or Compact RN License is mandatory.
- Willingness to work on-site, 5 days a week.
- Availability to start immediately.
