About the position

The Retail Store Manager (RSM) at AT&T Prime Communications is responsible for overseeing the sales and operational standards of the assigned retail location. This role focuses on driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational compliance. The RSM leads a team of Retail Sales Consultants and Assistant Store Managers, fostering a positive work culture and ensuring that the store meets its sales and operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall sales and operational standards of the retail location.
  • Drive sales achievement and customer service results.
  • Ensure that Retail Sales Consultants and Assistant Store Managers meet or exceed their sales quotas and income objectives.
  • Coach and develop store personnel by remaining on the sales floor most of the time.
  • Partner with the District Manager to review headcount forecasts and staffing needs.
  • Schedule staff to meet business needs and special events such as product launches.
  • Instill pride and ownership in store appearance among employees.
  • Review and ensure operational compliance with back office processes and policies.
  • Safeguard company assets, including codes and passwords.
  • Respond promptly to communications and requests for information.
  • Ensure timely completion of required training for store personnel.
  • Implement company values and goals to foster a positive store culture.
