About the position

The Interim RN Nurse Manager position is a contract role focused on providing leadership and oversight in a skilled nursing facility. The role requires a dedicated and experienced nurse supervisor to ensure quality care for residents while managing a team of healthcare professionals. This position offers the opportunity to work in various locations, providing flexibility and a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Motivate staff to achieve outstanding results
• Ensure quality care for all residents
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and their families
• Assist in developing individual care plans
• Oversee staff who provide direct patient care, such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
• Provide companionship and comfort to all residents

Requirements

• At least one year of clinical experience as an RN in a long-term care setting
• One year of nurse management experience
• Active RN license in Wisconsin
• Possess empathy and passion for serving others
• Serve as a leader and a trusted resource to other healthcare team members
• Up-to-date certifications/compliance: Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Two-step TB test
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
