About the position

The Interim Teacher position at Grinnell Newburg Comm School District is responsible for completing the remainder of the 24-25 school year. The role focuses on enhancing academic performance and supporting the district's student achievement goals through effective instruction and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to enhance academic performance and support the implementation of the District's student achievement goals.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes.
• Use research-based instructional strategies to deliver instruction that meets the multiple learning needs of all students.
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of all students.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.

Requirements

• BA degree is required.
• Iowa Teacher's Certification is required.
• Special Education qualifications are required.
• Previous K-12 teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
