About the position

The Interior Architectural Designer will work with a high-end residential construction firm to create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. This role requires collaboration with clients and design professionals to translate client needs into innovative designs, utilizing various design software to produce detailed drawings and models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts that align with client objectives and preferences.
• Utilize design software such as Revit, 3ds Max, and MicroStation to create detailed drawings and 3D models.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, budget, and requirements for each project.
• Prepare design documentation, including specifications for materials, furnishings, and finishes.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and ensure project alignment with design intent.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure successful project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, SolidWorks, 3ds Max, MicroStation, or Grasshopper is preferred.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, space planning, and color theory.
• Excellent graphic design skills for creating presentations and visual aids.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
