About the position

The Interior Design CAD Drafter at Ikedo Design is responsible for producing construction documents for various projects. This role involves utilizing CAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other software to prepare detailed drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and building codes. The position requires collaboration with the project management team and accountability for the quality of work produced.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts and drawings according to established design and site-specific documentation.
• Document and save project work per established guidelines to ensure file management integrity.
• Swiftly and accurately prepare elements of construction drawings using CAD or similar software.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the project management team regarding construction documents.
• Make revisions based on required adjustments per the project management team.
• Verify the accuracy of project information and measurements through site visits or information gathered by others.

Requirements

• 5 years of work experience in Drafting and Design.
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketchup.
• Ability to prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and diagrams for construction documents.
• Knowledgeable about A/E design processes and specifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of multiple disciplines such as architecture, electrical, structural, and civil survey.
• Ability to self-organize work production and prioritize tasks.
