About the position

The Interior Design Project Coordinator position is crucial for the successful execution of furniture projects within the company. This role involves a variety of responsibilities that ensure projects are completed accurately and on time. The coordinator will work closely with the Interior Designer to review design packages for accuracy, oversee product orders for multiple projects, and coordinate with vendors and freight lines to ensure timely delivery of client orders. The position requires a proactive approach to updating team designers on open orders and providing weekly updates to clients regarding their project status. In addition to managing orders and communications, the coordinator will work directly with the Honors Interiors warehouse team to ensure that all client products are received correctly and are ready for installation. This includes managing the finer details, such as ensuring that necessary items like light bulbs and extension cords are available. The role also involves running errands to prepare for installations, receiving and quality controlling products at the warehouse, and maintaining organized client spreadsheets based on received items. The coordinator will also be responsible for leading project installations alongside the team and attending weekly meetings to take notes and ensure all team members are aligned. This position offers the potential for growth into a full-time project manager role for candidates who demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and problem-solving capabilities.
