About the position

The Interior Designer position at Studios Architecture is focused on creating impactful architectural solutions for complex projects. The role emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to sustainability, requiring a proactive problem-solver who can effectively communicate and build relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural solutions to complex design problems.
• Collaborate with team members on larger-scale projects while leading smaller projects independently.
• Conduct workplace strategy, programming, and space planning for commercial interior design.
• Specify furniture and develop mock-ups as part of the design process.
• Present initial design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Utilize Revit for design and documentation, with additional software experience in Rhino, AutoCAD, Grasshopper, Enscape, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 7-10 years of work experience in an architectural or interior design firm.
• Experience with large commercial office, mixed-use, civic, academic, or cultural projects.
• Strong understanding of materials, color, lighting, texture, graphics, FF&E, and interior construction.
• Experience in all phases of Architectural services from Schematic Design through Construction Documentation and Construction Administration.
• Licensure or Interior Design Accreditation (or pursuit of) is desired.
• LEED Accreditation (or pursuit of) and experience with LEED CI desired.
