About the position

The Interior Designer / Assistant Project Manager role at Marquis Health Consulting Services involves supporting the design and project management of interior renovations specifically for Subacute and Skilled Nursing Healthcare facilities. Responsibilities

  • Organize & maintain library and project samples
  • Schedule meetings with vendors to keep FF&E library up to date
  • Assist senior designers with project management tasks
  • Conduct research on industry FF&E specifications
  • Provide administrative support to design team
  • Develop design & millwork drawings using AutoCAD
  • Draw 3D renderings to visualize design concepts
  • Participate in project meetings
  • Conduct site walkthroughs for field verification when necessary

Requirements

  • Experience in an interior design firm or related field
  • Completion of Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of construction details including millwork
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
  • Great written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift samples
  • Knowledge of basic building codes, regulations, and industry standards

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Sketchup
  • Ability to draw 3D renderings to visualize design concepts
