Step into the world of luxury design at Hive Collective as an Interior Designer. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage and execute high-end interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring every detail aligns with the Hive Collective aesthetic. Your expertise and creativity will play a pivotal role in crafting spaces that embody our brand's vision. The Interior Designer at Hive Collective oversees all aspects of ongoing interior design projects, from conception to completion. This role involves making critical decisions and monitoring project progress to ensure that timelines and budgets are adhered to, while upholding the company's design standards and business initiatives. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of interior design, style, and décor, are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of the client experience, from consultations through delivery and site visits, alongside the Senior Designer.
  • Oversee all aspects of ongoing interior design projects, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget.
  • Monitor project progress and make decisions to keep the project aligned with business initiatives.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations for interior design projects.
  • Conduct initial in-home consultations as a representative of Hive Design.
  • Measure clients' homes and create floor plans in AutoCAD if files are not provided.
  • Produce CAD drawings for projects using departmental and industry standards.
  • Provide design expertise, execute design projects, and support the Senior Interior Designer with large-scale projects in collaboration with the team.
  • Create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting appropriate items for clients.
  • Produce on-brand design presentations and communicate design concepts, space planning, and product selections to clients.
  • Work closely with the Senior Interior Designer to review project specifications and ensure that client and business partner needs are met.
  • Ensure Hive Collective's values and vision are clearly defined, communicated, and embodied within the design team.
  • Represent the Hive lifestyle brand through communication, personal appearance, and professionalism.
  • Maintain the Master Design Client Spreadsheet with current information as projects progress.
  • Create and maintain a current resource library for fabrics, finishes, wall coverings, etc., in the Design Studio.
  • Maintain a standard of productivity to ensure fiscal goals are met.
  • Remain fluid and flexible to support the evolving needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • A deep understanding of luxury design, style, and decor
  • Ability to manage and execute design projects
  • Experience in client consultations and presentations
  • Knowledge of current design trends, social media, and industry forecasting
