About the position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer/Drafter who is passionate about transforming spaces and has a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaboration to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments, ensuring that all designs are both innovative and practical.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts using tools such as Sketchup, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for interior layouts.
• Select color palettes, materials, furnishings, and lighting to enhance the overall design.
• Conduct site visits to assess spaces and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals throughout the remodeling process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies in interior design.
• Present design ideas and proposals to clients effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Sketchup, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and lighting design principles.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with remodeling processes is preferred but not mandatory.
