The Interior Designer / Flooring and Cabinet Sales position involves providing exceptional customer service and design assistance to clients in a showroom and their homes. The role focuses on assisting customers with design ideas for flooring, cabinets, countertops, and other elements for remodeling projects, while also managing customer records and collaborating with team members to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and design assistance to clients in person, by email, and on the phone.
• Assist customers with design ideas including flooring, cabinets, countertops, and window treatments for kitchen, bath, and whole house remodeling.
• Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience selling floor covering or cabinets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle customers with professionalism and empathy.
• Proficient in using common computer systems and navigating software applications.
• Previous experience in customer service or technical sales is a plus.
