About the position

Cashmere & Company is seeking a Full-Time Interior Designer to join their Newport Beach team. The role involves collaborating closely with the lead designer on various interior design projects, focusing on space planning and project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and be able to contribute to both the creative and administrative aspects of the design process.

Responsibilities

• Work on interior space planning and project management.
• Collaborate with the lead designer on projects from start to finish.
• Process and track orders for multiple projects using Excel spreadsheets.
• Support marketing initiatives, including content creation and management for Instagram and other platforms.
• Maintain digital and hardcopy records, ensuring all documentation is organized and accessible.
• Utilize design experience to provide insights and assistance across various projects.
• Assist with administrative duties to ensure smooth office functioning.

Requirements

• Ideally 3 years of experience working in a design firm.
• Proficient in Sketchup; CAD experience is helpful.
• Ability to collaborate and take leadership from the head designer.
• Cooperative worker and team player.

• Experience with content creation for social media platforms.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining records.
