This role requires hands-on experience in interior design, with a proven track record of designing and curating high-end residential homes. A robust portfolio showcasing previous work is essential. The candidate will be expected to assist the team and clients throughout the design process, from initial concept to final execution, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed effectively. In addition to design skills, the candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and have working knowledge of CAD software. Familiarity with "Designer Manager" software is a plus, as the company is willing to provide training. Strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit are crucial for success in this role. The position is full-time, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, and requires in-person work at the Delray Beach location.

Responsibilities

  • Assist team and clients in all aspects of the design process from start to finish.
  • Obtain estimates and purchase materials for projects.
  • Conduct item research and manage computer input related to projects.
  • Interact with clients and vendors to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
  • Manage time effectively and work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in interior design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software.
  • Strong project organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or art history is preferred.

Nice-to-haves
