Our team collaborates closely with partners across Life Time to build and remodel these spaces, ensuring that every project is executed with a high level of quality and efficiency. We utilize innovative Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes along with industry-standard design and authoring applications throughout all phases of project development and delivery. Our newly built office space is conveniently located next to one of our premier athletic country clubs, providing a vibrant atmosphere for creativity and innovation. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for developing designs and plans for the interior of health and fitness facilities, tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. Your role will involve creating functional and aesthetic designs that not only enhance the spaces but also boost productivity, increase sales, and attract customers. You will direct Interiors Interns and Technicians within project assignments, ensuring that all design elements align with our high standards and the expectations of our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining open communication with project managers and internal business partners, as well as conducting site observations and documentation analysis during the construction process. In this position, you will independently prepare comprehensive design plans, including elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork design, furniture layouts, and finish selections. You will also be responsible for reviewing project submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and change management documents during the construction administration phase, ensuring that all specifications are met. Your ability to rely on your experience and judgment will be essential in planning and accomplishing project goals, while also receiving technical guidance on complex issues as needed. Self-checking your work for accuracy and completeness will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will creating accurate Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) specifications in coordination with the FF&E Manager.
