About the position

The Interior Designer II position is a mid-level role designed for individuals with 2-5 years of relevant design experience. This role focuses on project management, business development, and the execution of design projects, including B&W layouts and CAD/Revit build-ups. The successful candidate will also assist in training junior designers and contribute to the firm's marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Handle B&W layouts, Mini Designs, and preliminary CAD/Revit build-ups.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources for timely project completion.
• Take on various levels of full design confidently and with minimal error.
• Assist in training Level I designers and maintain training manuals.
• Review the work of junior designers.
• Participate in business development and marketing efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 4-year degree in a job-related field, or a combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of related design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, understand, and develop construction drawings, documents, and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written business-focused communication skills.
• Portfolio showing proof of ability to concept, design, and execute commercial design projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge in Twinmotion, Enscape, and 3DStudio Max.
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and CET Software.
• Working towards NCIDQ certification.
