Gray AE is looking to add an Interior Designer II to our Lexington, KY office. Responsibilities
- Knowledge of design trends, construction methods, and materials applications
- Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), Experience in selection and specification with commercial furniture lines
- Manage project coordination between project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants
- Advance knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of construction documents
- Develop innovative design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe, functional, and conducive of client goals and with project budget
- Perform site survey and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and integrate with existing team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a degree from a technical college and five to seven (5-7) years of experience; or the equivalent combination both
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCad, MS Office, Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be physically present in the Lexington office
