Gray AE is looking to add an Interior Designer II to our Lexington, KY office. Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of design trends, construction methods, and materials applications
  • Advanced knowledge of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), Experience in selection and specification with commercial furniture lines
  • Manage project coordination between project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants
  • Advance knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of construction documents
  • Develop innovative design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe, functional, and conducive of client goals and with project budget
  • Perform site survey and documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and integrate with existing team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a degree from a technical college and five to seven (5-7) years of experience; or the equivalent combination both
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCad, MS Office, Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be physically present in the Lexington office
