About the position

The Interior Designer II at Populous is responsible for delivering innovative design solutions in a collaborative environment, focusing on a variety of public assembly building types, including sports venues and hospitality environments. This role requires a blend of creative design thinking, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to manage multiple projects and interact with clients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and documentation in all aspects of the interiors process.
• Engage in creative design thinking and spatial/environmental design.
• Develop branding and story creation for projects.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
• Lead presentations, meetings, and collaborative sessions with clients and consultants.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
• 3-10 years of relevant experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong sketching and freehand drawing skills.
• Superior visual, written, and spoken communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Hospitality experience is preferred.
• Rendering experience, both computer and freehand.
