About the position

The Interior Designer II at IKM Architecture, Inc. is responsible for developing and executing innovative interior design concepts, particularly in healthcare settings. Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret interior design concepts for healthcare and other architectural projects.
• Plan, design, and coordinate interior aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals.
• Provide subject matter expertise on specific components of interior design.
• Lead the interior design process from conceptual development through to final execution, ensuring high-quality design standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless project integration.
• Prepare and present design proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and budgets.
• Maintain awareness of design trends, materials, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field required.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in interior design, with 2 years of healthcare design experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, particularly in healthcare environments.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification as a licensed interior designer is preferred but not required.
