About the position

The Interior Designer III at ID+A is responsible for designing and detailing various interior spaces, collaborating closely with other designers and the sales team. This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards and processes, as well as the ability to present design solutions to clients. The designer will also monitor project profitability and manage design resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Interior Designers, Project Designers, and Sales team to design and detail spaces of various complexity.
• Present design and furniture solutions to clients and conduct on-site field verifications.
• Monitor contract profitability and manage Interior Design resources.
• Attract and retain talent through mentorship and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with various departments to maintain a unified design process.
• Create, measure, and monitor design processes, standards, and deliverables for efficiency.
• Solicit, write, revise, and produce design contracts.
• Foster continuous improvement of the team through training opportunities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project partners for project execution.
• Engage in client presentations and deliverables during the design phase.

Requirements

• Minimum five years' experience in the interior design field.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design/architecture.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Suite.
• Intermediate knowledge of furniture design and interior construction processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications including One Drive, Teams, and Outlook.
• KYCID certification preferred.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in mentoring and training team members.
• Knowledge of DIRTT process and deliverables.
