The Interior Designer / In House Architect position involves working in a retail showroom located in Manhattan, focusing on kitchen and bath design and sales. The role requires interaction with high-end clientele, providing design solutions and product recommendations while ensuring a positive customer experience. Candidates will be part of a friendly team atmosphere and are expected to be self-motivated and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to discuss cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and custom millwork.
• Design and sell kitchen and bath solutions to high-end clientele.
• Collaborate with team members in a friendly and professional manner.
• Utilize drafting skills in Autocad, 20-20 Design, or Chief Architect to create design plans.
• Manage sales processes for real estate landlords, developers, and property managers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in kitchen and bath industry sales.
• Proven experience working directly with clients.
• Knowledge of kitchen & bath design and installation.
• Excellent drafting skills in Autocad, 20-20 Design, or Chief Architect.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in sales for real estate landlords and property managers.
• Degree in Design or Architecture (not necessary but preferred).
• Ability to handle high-end clientele with patience and professionalism.
