About the position

The Interior Designer / Interior Architect position at Multistudio involves developing and executing design solutions for various projects. The role requires collaboration with leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that design intent is accurately interpreted and meets client expectations. The designer will engage in all phases of a project, from conceptual design to construction administration, while contributing to innovative approaches in the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design solutions for projects under the direction of leadership.
• Render design ideas in the form of models, drawings, videos, and illustrations for client presentations.
• Work through all phases of a project including programming, conceptual design, construction drawings, and administration.
• Collaborate with consultants, furniture dealers, product representatives, and building officials to meet project objectives.
• Manage client expectations and ensure design intent is accurately interpreted in documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in interior design or interior architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of construction processes, materials, costs, lighting, and systems integration.
• Familiarity with Google Sketchup, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with physical modeling and mock-ups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem solve.
