NBBJ Seattle is seeking a Junior Level Interior Designer or Interior Architect to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Participate in high-energy, collaborative teams on a wide range of project types.
  • Engage proactively in ideation at all levels of the design process.
  • Provide design and documentation support on projects of various sizes and complexities.
  • Develop and implement overall design concepts and finish palettes through all phases of design.
  • Create presentation books and materials for client presentations.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years of professional experience in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
  • LEED Accreditation or within 18 months of hire.
  • Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills.
  • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to lead aspects of work with design direction.
  • Proficiency in Revit with essential 3D modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino, and Sketchup.
  • Experience with researching, selecting, and specifying materials and finishes.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Furniture selection experience is beneficial.
  • Corporate and commercial design experience is beneficial.
  • Client presentation skills are beneficial.
