About the position

The Interior Designer / Luxury Furniture Sales position at Walter E Smithe Furniture & Design involves engaging with clients to create inspiring and functional spaces using luxury furniture. Designers will work in well-appointed showrooms and are responsible for driving sales through personal outreach and client relationships, while also managing multiple projects to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive business by connecting with clients in the showroom and through personal outreach.
• Listen to client needs and visit their homes to bring design dreams to life.
• Efficiently manage multiple clients and projects to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of client service, accounting, and delivery professionals.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in luxury retail sales or interior design, or 2+ years experience in sales or a related field for career changers.
• Proven track record of business success and ability to lead a sales process.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
