About the position

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on the design of model homes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional spaces that resonate with diverse clientele. You will work closely with architects, builders, and sales teams to bring your vision to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and presentations for model homes, including layouts, color schemes, and material selections.
• Create detailed floor plans, 3D renderings, and mood boards to visualize design ideas.
• Source and select furnishings, decor, and materials that align with project budgets and timelines.
• Stay updated on current design trends and market preferences to ensure our model homes appeal to potential buyers.
• Oversee the installation of design elements and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design integrity and quality throughout the implementation process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience in residential interior design, preferably with model homes or sales environments.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and furniture design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A portfolio showcasing your design work, particularly in model homes or similar projects.
