About the position

Kittle's Furniture is seeking a full-time Interior Designer Sales Consultant to join their sales team at the Castleton Furniture Store. This role involves working with clients to design and furnish residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, leveraging a strong background in design and sales. The position offers a supportive environment with experienced team members and a commission pay structure, along with various benefits including training and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client
• Prepare sales tickets for customer orders based on designs
• Calculate the specifications and cost of materials for construction
• Select design components to create a unique and purposeful space
• Create client, vendor, and consultant relationships
• Develop sketches and documentation for client presentation

Requirements

• A degree in Interior design or another related field
• 5+ years of design or furniture sales experience
• Familiarity with design software
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a sales environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
