About the position

The Interior Designer role at Falcon's Creative Group focuses on the design and development of themed environments, particularly for theme parks. This position involves creating conceptual designs and developing them through various design phases while adhering to program and budget requirements. The designer will collaborate with multiple disciplines to create immersive spaces that are functionally safe and aesthetically pleasing, integrating technical and operational requirements into the design process.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual designs for themed environments including F&B, retail, and guest areas.
• Develop designs into subsequent phases and organize design packages.
• Integrate and coordinate with other disciplines such as structural engineering, plumbing, and lighting.
• Select materials, finishes, and customize fabricated elements for projects.
• Research and provide specifications for fixtures, furniture, and materials.
• Prepare presentations and create drawing design documents.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, and intellectual property (IP) stakeholders.
• Participate in design charrettes and client reviews.
• Produce documentation such as mood boards to communicate design intent.
• Review consultant and vendor drawings to ensure compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Themed Entertainment, Interior Design, Theater, Art, or Design.
• 2-5 years of experience in theme park development, theatrical design, or hospitality-related design.
• Strong portfolio of design work is required.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign, 3DsMax, SketchUp, and 3D rendering software.
• Experience with theme park development and design package creation.
